Brilliant Cigarettes Brands Advertising Tricks

No comments:

The history of development and the emergence of the famous Marlboro cowboy that led the brand to worldwide success and popularity is well known. But there is another interesting trick that made the Marlboro brand famous.

Cardboard boxes with flip- top lid, which are now standard package of cigarettes were invented by Marlboro. This step was made not only for showing their innovation or design ideas, but for promotional purposes as wells - to make a communication channel for Marlboro smokers.

Previously consumers were able to pull out a cigarette from soft packages without removing them from the pocket, so others could not see the brand. Well Marlboro idea changed that!

Flip tops - so called current cigarette packs – have to be taken out of the pocket and the brand is always is the attention of the interlocutor.

Over the years, of course, people have learned to pull out of cigarettes and flip- tops, without taking the pack from his pocket. May be there was time for a new package, but Marlboro apparently didn’t have time for that. Dunhill brand made this instead. They were able to a new design for the pack. In order to take a cigarette from a Dunhill pack one should not only open the lid , but the valve as well. It is quite difficult to do this in your packet. So everyone will see the beautiful pack of your Dunhill Cigarettes.
